sms_client Problem - Modem Locked?

Beth; Are you familiar with the Freebsd ports packages? You might want to
attempt to install the lsof, very very handy program. However in lieu of
that program, you might do a ps -aewx and post it, if its not a too
large. maybe we can spot something.
