Morning report email from Nagios

I would like to have a morning report sent with email, that says either "All is good", or specifies any current issues. Why? It would support our process =)

The "all is good" report also verifies that Nagios and the network is up and running. 

Any ideas how to incorporate it into Nagios? I´m thinking of taking out a Nagios day report via a cron job. Can that be done?
