Host dependent upon service on same host

Andreas, yes that is one option, however, I still like having the host
check be the simple ping reply in my case.

What i'm looking for is more of a new feature I'm thinking, a way to
have a host depend on a service, instead of host depend on host and
service depend on service.

But I will give this a try and see what the others in my group think of this.

Thanks
