Anything is possible ;-)
I personally am not familiar with any other web front-ends. However, it seems to me that with some basic web authoring skills you could simply provide links only to what you would like to be displayed to "non-technical" users.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Different Front-End
Hi,
I've been asked by my boss to try to implement a different web front-end over Nagios for non-technical users. The idea is to only display the following info:
Host Name | Service | Status [up or down] | Uptime
For statistics, we only need the Availability Report.
Should you happen to know if this is possible, please let me know and what tool is available for this.
I've seen the Nagios syNAPTic front-end webpage [http://www.iamafreeman.com/projects/synaptic/ <http://osx.freshmeat.net/redir/nagios-synaptic/55517/url_homepage/synaptic> ] but don't know if it provides or is capable of providing what we want.
Thanks for your help.
