There are contacts and contactgroups. You could put all SMS
notifications in one contact group and trouble tickets in another group.
Then in your service config, you say:
contact_groups <sms_groups>
This would leave out the trouble tickets.
If you want both:
contact_groups <sms_groups>,<trouble ticket>
Hope that helps.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Notifications: Downtimes and contacts
Hi All!
We're running Nagios 2.0. According to the doc, when a node is in a
scheduled downtime, no notifications are sent for the related services
during this time. According to the Nagios GUI, when I simply disable
notification for node, notifications for any related services will
continue. Is that right so far?
We have a number of services where an SMS notifications is sent as well
as a trouble ticket is generated (using two different contacts). here
are some cases, where we want an SMS notification send, but we do not
want a trouble ticket generated. Is there any easy way of doing this?
Regards,
Jim Mohr
