Good afternoon,
I have read the online documentation regarding the statusmap.cgi compilation and I dont found the trouble.
I use Slackware 10, kernel 2.6.11, nagios-2.0b3 and gd-2.0.33, apache-2.0.54 all compiled/installed from source.
The thing a have see into the config.log, is somes stranges line like:
/config.log:configure:1239: checking for uio.h
/config.log:configure:1245:17: uio.h: No such file or directory
configure:1245:22: pthreads.h: No such file or directory
configure:1245:20: socket.h: No such file or directory
Fortinately, this files is located into "/usr/include/linux" folder, but the pthreads.h is not found anywhere.
Other strange line
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-slackware-linux/3.3.5/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lcma
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-slackware-linux/3.3.5/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -liconv
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-slackware-linux/3.3.5/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lttf
What is missing to my system, what is lcma, liconv, lttf, I supposed iconv and ttf is refered to libiconv and ttf refered to TrueType font.
I have compiled PHP 5.0.4 with this options
/configure --with-curl --with-openssl --with-mysql --with-config-file-path=/etc --enable-sockets --with-apxs2=/usr/local/a
pache-2.0.54/bin/apxs --with-xml --with-pcre --with-pear --with-mcrypt --enable-ftp --with-gettext=/usr --with-zlib=/usr --ena
ble-calendar --enable-ftp --with-iconv --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir --with-png --with-gmp --with-mm --with-dom --enable-mbstring=
all --enable-mbregex --enable-mime-magic.
All works fine, so I supposed the compiler have foud all the correct library.
Did someone can open my eyes on a my stupid mind?????
