You're in a difficult situation, then.
Because you get exactly the same warranties for 1.2 as for 2.0b - none. 
As you heard, 2.0b _is_ used by many people, and afaik there are not 
more complaints concerning reliability or stability than for 1.2. So, 
it's up to you - or pay someone :-)
