Status Information on Service Detail page - how to increase the limit?

Looks like there is a limitation on the amount of info in the Status 
information column in service detail page. I am writing a plug-in that 
needs to provide more info and also include some HTML tags. I see that 
nagios is cutting off at some point. Is it something that can be changed?
