Internal Server Error 500 - Is chcon the fix?

I had the same problem and chcon resolved it.

Hello All,

 

I am trying to get my Nagios up and running. I have it running in the background sending me out emails, but I cannot get the web interface to work. 

 

I am running Centos 4.0, nagios-1.2-2.2.el4.rf, nagios-plugins-1.4-2.2.el4.rf, httpd-2.0.52-9.ent.centos4.1, perl-5.8.5-12.1

 

All of the CGI files give an Internal Server Error 500

Should I run 'chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /usr/lib/nagios/cgi/' on the cgi files to get them to work? What is the recommended fix for this?
