Host Dependencies in Nagios v.1.2

I'm having a problem with Host dependencies.
When I view the configuration via the web interface the MAIN_ROUTER is not mentioned anywhere.

I have 23 BRANCH_OFFICE ROUTER that depends on MAIN_ROUTER. It doesn't seem like Nagios accepts this. Below is an example of a branch office definition.

### HK HOST DEPENDENCIES ###
define hostdependency{
    host_name MAIN_ROUTER
    dependent_host_name BRANCH_OFFICE_ROUTER
    }

define hostdependency{
    host_name BRANCH_OFFICE_ROUTER
    dependent_host_name BRANCH_OFFICE_SERVER
    notification_failure_criteria d,u
    }

Any ideas are most welcome.
