Monitor multiple scritps / batch process through Nagios

In my scenario I want to monitor jboss application
server executed through a bat file on windows 2000
server. . I have more than 2 instances of Jboss
running through different batch files. 

Problem is that process after execution of jboss is
java.exe. I want to check the batch file process is
running or not. 

I also want to multiple terminal shell sctipts
execution runnig on unix box 

Quick response is appriciated
