No notification on web interface

Can nagios create the status log? Does the status log exist (status_file
in nagios.cfg)? Does it have information in it? Is nagios running? Are
you out of disk space maybe?

Why do you think this is related/pertinent? It should also be
'enable_notifications=1'.
