Nagios for Server or Client?

ok, here is the problem, i've succesfully install nagios and nagios web interface in my pc, the problem is, when i try to open statusmap there's an error:
 
 Not Found  The requested URL /nagios/cgiurl/statusmap.cgi was not found on this server.

 Apache/1.3.36 Server at localhost.localdomain Port 80 
 i've install all libraries like libgd, libpng, libpng-devel, etc, and i've configure cgi.cfg & httpd.conf, but the statusmap still doesn't appear in my nagios web interface. Is this because my computer running as a client not a server?? or maybe i've wrong configure the cgi.cfg or httpd.conf??

And how do you define 'client computer' or 'server computer'?

What errors? WHat did you try? What were you expecting? ......
