Is your Nagios server permitted to relay through your Exchange server?

Derek,
That is pretty much what i though, but i guess i have something goofed
up. It will send mail enternal to our domain/exchange server, but
nothing out side of our domain, (i.e. Vtext.com ). Is there a way inside
Nagios to tell it to send all out bound mail through our Exchange
server?

Well, if you're just trying to send it via e-mail, you can send it
like any other e-mail message. Nagios basically injects its e-mail
into its local MTA on that box, which is configured however you set
it up (and that's a little outside the scope of this list, but
relaying to offsite domains like Verizon should be a factory config
pretty much).

cheers,
D
