This error often appears, because of the wrong language setting detected by nsclient. 
M$ has different perfmon counternames in each language. Nsclient got the file counters.def, in which it finds the counters for some languages.

Look at the Application Log, when NSClient starts, it leaves a information, with which language Code it starts. Compare this code with the information in the counters.def and then check, if the counter language is right for your system.

Hi,
 
 
I am using nrpe_nt on a w2k server and get this information on cpu load: 0%. I used taskmgr on the box, I saw cpu was jumping from 1% to 15% at the period on a handful of hyperthread cpus. Does anyone else have the same issue? I have changed the interval time and it seemed better. But still I got this: Mean: 0%, can this be possible and did it give the right information? Thanks in advance.
