Fw: ===NRPE: Unable to read output

Greetings folks. I just had this issue while updating some Fedora Core
4 machines.
The issue was oriented in what I think are changes to the plugin
packaging approach.
There used to be one RPM for most of the common plugins. This has
changed to individual
RPMs for each plugin, with an all plugin (nagios-plugins-all) to pull
them all together with
dependencies.

When I updated nagios-plugins, the actual plugin binaries disappeared.
Until I figured out that
the plugins were missing and that the nagios-plugin-xxx or
nagios-plugins-all needed to be
installed I was having the same issue as describe here.

Hope this helps.

Andy
