I don't use check_nt, so I hope your syntax is correct. However, the
service name is probably wrong because MSSQL starts one service per
database it runs. So if your database name is MYDB, the service name
will be MSSQL$MYDB.
This way you can monitor several different databases.
Just check the service applet in the MMC on your database server for the
exact service name.
As for the check_tcp thing, there was a typo in my previous mail: the
TCP port you have to check is the # 1433 (and not 1443) if you use the
default configuration.
