nagios + nextel issue

That's odd. I have Nextel too, and I get a ton of pages a day from all 
sort of different things.

I'm sending mine as text messages though, because I was having issues 
(not the same as yours) with sending pages to my phone. I switched to 
using the text messages "Twoway.mynumber at messaging.nextel.com" and 
haven't had a problem since then.

I never get two pages for one as you are describing. I'd call them and 
ask them what's going on, or consider doing the text message route perhaps.
