Sim cards for Text Updates

Nagios Users, 

I currently have Nagios implemented and am looking at receiving text 

updates to phone although this phone will only be used for receiving these
texts.

Does anyone in the UK who does this know of any Phone network that 

does a pay and go package that does not require you to make a payment every 

six months as most T&C's say that they will terminate the line if not topped
up
