If you have one Sol 2.6 system with GCC and OpenSSL, libiconv, libintl etc 
then you could build NRPE and the plugins as a static binary to avoid any 
problems with missing libraries etc.

If you search this archive or google for "gcc static compile" you should 
turn up some good info
