Nagios to monitor Power Generator

    Hi, list.

    I have a Caterpillar Power Generator in my work, wich use RS-232 
Caterpillar Communication Module (CCM), and CCM PC, a windows-based 
program for display and diagnostic (

).

    Anyone use nagios to monitor your Power Generator ? How do you maked 
to do that thing ? Any linux compatible software for reading this data 
of Caterpillar Power Generator, like Network UPS Tools do with UPS ?
