I'm running CentOS 4.4, but I did a yum whatprovides:
[root at laptop ~]# yum whatprovides /usr/lib/libbeecrypt.la
beecrypt-devel.i386 3.1.0-6 base
Matched from:
/usr/lib/libbeecrypt.la
Importing Additional filelist information for packages
I also verified that package is installed on my Nagios instance. So
perhaps a yum install beecrypt beecrypt-devel and that will resolve your
issues.
