how to loop event-handlers

You mean to pass the date of the last $hoststate and handle the loop by
handler? Nagios cannot do this? I've created test host with non-existing
ip (on my net) and when host goes down/hard the handler is executed only
_once_ and from yesterday (if i remember) event handler never was
executed second time (nagios logs are also without something about
executing handler for more than once)
