Host aliases

Hi All!

Maybe I missed it in the documentation, but is there anyway to refer to
a host by multiple names? We are using SolarWinds to monitor various
SNMP values and when an alert triggers, we send a NSCA message to the
Nagios server. In some cases the name is simply the host name and in
other cases it includes the domainname. However, in Nagios all of the
hosts were created with just the hostname. So I was wondering if I had
any options on the Nagios side to be able to refer to the hosts by
multiple names? Any help/info would be appreaciated.
