hi Stephen
thanks for answering so soon
yes, i sure it is the right version of SNMP. I am trying to get the value
from the shell and i get:
snmpget -v 1 -c public 62.81.189.117 .1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.1.6.5.1.4
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.12394.1.1.6.5.1.4
but i obtained the OID grom getif and it says it is aplicable to all
units...
i haven't load the alvarion MIB anywhere (and i don't know how to do it)
because i read if you use numerical OID you don't have to..
if i use the same command with v 2c i obtain
snmpget -v 2c -c public 62.81.189.117 .1.3.6.1.4.1.12394.1.1.6.5.1.4
Timeout: No Response from 62.81.189.117.
and more over, when i installed net-snmp i configured it to work with v1
(net-snmp)
any more ideas? thanks
