Hi there -
I am monitoring for the total amount of processes and also zombie processes on a
remote system. The Nagios server and NRPE clients are both version 2.6.
The plugins on the Nagios server are version 1.4.5, while those on the client
are 1.4. The operating system on the server is Fedora Core 5, and that on the
client
is Fedora Core 3.
I configured the nrpe.cfg file on the client to have the following lines for
monitoring the two types of processes:
command[check_zombie_procs]=/usr/local/nrpe/libexec/check_procs -w 5 -c 10 -s Z
command[check_total_procs]=/usr/local/nrpe/libexec/check_procs -w 150 -c 200
The Nagios server services.cfg file has the following entries for the above two
lines:
check_nrpe!check_zombie_procs
...
check_nrpe!check_total_procs
The error message that I am getting for both services is the following:
System call sent warnings to stderr message
What changes should I make to correct this? Thanks.
