Check your server.
- is nrpe started?
- is you have same password and CRYPT algoritm on client and server
side?
- is your nrpe server configured for run check_load from client?

At first you have to configure snmpd on target hosts. Then, you must
define OID's for checks.
Nothing special for nagios.
