Floating point exception

Hello List-Users
i have installed nrpe 2.10 Plugins on my RH EL 4.0 (2.6.9-55.0.9.ELsmp #1
SMP Tue Sep 25 02:17:24 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux) box.
so wen i will test the functionality of nrpe my result is allways:


/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H localhost
Floating point exception


on my remote host and on my monitoring host
CHECK_NRPE: Error - Could not complete SSL handshake

on 7 other identical maschines, nrpe runs perfectly

have anybody an idea?
