RFC - Config files on Window shares (SMB mountpoints on Nagios host). [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Dear Folks, 

After giving up on the cfg_dir directive, changing the cfg_file
directives to point to Windows 
shares containing the Nagios config files seems to work Ok. 

The Nagios parser/line read routines seem to tolerate an extra 0x0d  at
the end of the line. 

Does anyone have any experience doing this ?
