Hi,
You could try this http://www.nagios.org/developerinfo/externalcommands/commandinfo.php?command_id=122 and send a schedule downtime with the API

Subject: [Nagios-users] Schedule recurring downtime
Hi,
We have a server that needs to reboot once a week and does this via a cron job. Is there any way to schedule this recurring downtime in nagios so as not to get notifications?
I can fiddle with time periods and make it work but is there a more elegant way of doing it?
