Transparent png in status-map

Hello,

I know this is not a life and death problem, but it's sometimes annoying.
I've tried to user transparent pngs for the icons in the status-map, but 
I can only "see" through one of the icons, the other ones have a white 
background.
I checked the transparency on all images and it's ok.
Do you have any suggestions for fixing this?
