ndo-utils not populating hostgroups

Hi all,
I've upgraded my failover nagios system with v3.0.2 (I know that 3.0.3
is out now, but haven't yet upgraded to that). So I have now
implemented ndoutils as well. I have it going to a unix socket and then
into a mysql database. I am attempting to get Nagvis going and we
noticing that it wasn't seeing my hostgroups. So I jumped into the
mysql database and don't see any of my hostgroup information being
populated there.
The documentation for ndoutils talks about the debugging. I turned it
on, but don't see any information getting fed into it. I thought maybe
it was a permission issue, so I set it to nagios:nagios instead of root.
So here are some variables that are in ndo2db.cfg:
debug_level=-1
debug_verbosity=2
Nagios appears to start it up just fine and allows some information to
be pushed over there. For example, I'm getting my host and services
when I go into nagvis and attempt to add a host or service. But when I
go to add a hostgroup or servicegroup, nothing populates the drop down.
But I just don't seem to be getting the hostgroup, servicegroups...
actually other information too. But the nagios_servicechecks has a lot
of information in it.

1) Does anyone have any suggestions for selecting from the ndo2db
mysql tables to see if its actually populating properly?
2) Is there any way to see what sql inserts are going to ndo2db, if
any? Would the ndo2db command be logging anywhere? Should this be the
ndo.debug file?
3) Any other suggestions on troubleshooting this?
By the way, great work on Nagios Ethan. Way to keep the promect moving
forward!
Thanks,
Joe
