Assunto: [Nagios-users] SMS notification problem . HW trouble ?
Hi List !
I hope this is not too off-topic, but it is somehow related to Nagios,
so here we go...
I use a Siemens T35i GSM module for sending Nagios notifications as
well as using it as a email-to-sms gateway. This worked for at least 3
years in a total of about 12000 SMS.
Since several days i get strange errors, like some sms not being sent
or even received, which is rather annoying, at least.
As far as I know, sending SMS works like copy the sms to sim card and
send it fro there. Could it be possible the the EEPROM starage area on
the SIM is "written to death" after this many sms's ?
I use debian and smstools, which tells me the following errors:
+CMS ERROR: 321
with the following error codes:
303 314 321 500
Maybe someone has already encountered soemthing similar ?
Regards , Simon
