Slow response from command remote call using SSH

Hello there,
I have just run into an issue with "multipath -ll" after upgrading to
RHEL 4 Update 7. Apparently, now running "multipath" takes up to 15
seconds to get a response back. Before I updated the server in question
to RHEL 4 Update 7, the 'multipath' command responded immediately,
therefore not creating any timing issue with nagios.
PROBLEM: my RHEL servers that have been updated to RHEL 4 Update 7, now
respond too slowly to the "multipath" command and will give the
following error in Nagios:
Multipath CRITICAL 10-01-2008 12:16:59 0d 1h 0m
59s 3/3 CRITICAL - Plugin timed out while executing system call
QUESTION: How do I set up 'nagios' so that it will wait up to 15
seconds for the service to complete?
NAGIOS SETUP: I have cut and pasted screenshots of the services and
commands in the Nagios setup:
Please keep in mind that this service, check_ssh_multipath, worked fine
prior to the upgrade to RHEL 4.7
