Hi All,
I am following the Quickstart Guide for installing NAGIOS using
http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/quickstart-ubuntu.html.
One of the prerequisites is Apache2, which I installed, and was successful
in getting "*It Works!!"* for http://127.0.0.1.
However, I am stuck at point 5) Configure the Web Interface, *make
install-webconf*.
*When this command is issued, this is what I get*.
/usr/bin/install -c -m 644 sample-config/httpd.conf
/etc/httpd/conf.d/nagios.conf
/usr/bin/install: cannot create regular file
'/etc/httpd/conf.d/nagios.conf': No such file or directory
make: *** [install-webconf] Error 1
Prefix for Apache: /etc/apache2
I believe the httpd.conf file and a few others also need to be edited for
Nagios. Can some please guide me through this?
Thanks,
Jim
