Installation issue

Hi,

Could anyone tell me what this error is and how do I overcome it?

This is the error I get when I make install, it is smooth when I configure
with

./configure --with-command-group=nagcmd I use the username and the
group name given in the doc

[root at test:/mnt/downloads/nagios-3.0.6] make install
cd ./base && make install
make[1]: Entering directory `/mnt/downloads/nagios-3.0.6/base'
make install-basic
make[2]: Entering directory `/mnt/downloads/nagios-3.0.6/base'
/usr/bin/install -c -m 775 -o nagios -g nagios -d /usr/local/nagios/bin
/usr/bin/install -c -m 774 -o nagios -g nagios nagios /usr/local/nagios/bin
/usr/bin/install: cannot stat `nagios': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [install-basic] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/downloads/nagios-3.0.6/base'
make[1]: *** [install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/downloads/nagios-3.0.6/base'
make: *** [install] Error 2
