Send Only one notification...

Hey Luis, whats up man!

Couldn't you just create a separate contact, and set it up with  
escalations, but only have it alert once? Maybe something like this...  
(note, untested).

define hostescalation {
         host_name               *
         first_notification      1
         last_notification       1
         notification_interval   60
         contact_groups          new_contact
}
