For some reason, it's taking longer than 5 seconds for /bin/mv to  
finish. Is the box heavily loaded (top, etc)? Are the disks  
extraordinarily busy (iostat, sar, etc)?

[~nagios/etc] $ grep timeout nagios.cfg
service_check_timeout=60
host_check_timeout=30
event_handler_timeout=30
notification_timeout=30
ocsp_timeout=5
