changing the status map

Hello

I want to have the map start in another "map" entity then the " Nagios 
Process "
( for instance the nagios host itself ) .
Is there a way to impact the CGI to do so ?

I am not a coder  , so my understanding of the code is limited , so if i 
remove the code in the statusmap.c from line 1599 to 1631 to eliminate 
the "nagios process" entry in the map - will that cause the Nagios 
server to become the centre of the map? or will it break the CGI 
completely ?
