Nagvis odd behaviour

In my attempt to build a failover nagios system I came across an 
annoying problem , and I am at a loss as to how to resolve it .
I have two nagios servers (master and secondary ) , on both i have 
installed NDO , and Nagvis , on the Master the nagvis automap displays 
the icons and the correct names of the servers .
On secondary , the automap is shown properly but without the icons and 
the host names , instead host are numbered "host_1" , "host_2" ... 
"host_N" , I checked the database and the names are inserted properly .

I tried several configurations - and even went as far as copying the 
working one from the Master - but to no success , i've compared the 
output of the ./configure command ,and they are identical .

 I made sure the requirements are installed (Zlib and gd  and gd-devel) 
and the graphviz .

Any ideas anyone ?
