The map is built automatically based on the parent/child relationship
you have set in your host definitions.
For instance if you make Switch1 the parent of Server1 and switch1
parent is local host you will have a map of
Server1->Switch1=>Localhost
This also means if switch1 goes down nagios knows server1 will be
unreachable - helps reduce alerts.
