How Do I Find the no of connections in Tomcat?

Hi all,

I'm very new to Nagios. I have certain doubts.


I need to find a way to find the number of tomcat connections. More
precisely, I need to know:

If Number of connections (< 500 for 1 min) or else alert.


Is that possible to do so?
