hi,
i have got problem with nagios log rotation.
running FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p1 (jail), nagios-3.2.3
we have nagios configured to rotate logs every day
log_rotation_method=d
but there is some problem with time. every midnight the log says:
[1325287647] Warning: A system time change of 0d 0h 36m 3s (forwards
in time) has been detected. Compensating...
[Sat Dec 31 00:27:27 2011]
as you can see the time stuff happens before 00:00:00 and shifts time
after this stamp
i've searched in the nagios sources and found, that "Compensating..."
does event re-schedule.
this schedules the event to the next day, so the rotation never happens
am i right? :)
has enyone seen this before?
thanks
jan
