<P><FONT SIZE=2>How about using the negate symbol (!) in front of the hostname in the group to exclude it. Would make for easy workaround when a host is down for a long time, and you don't want to keep getting alerted. Just negate the host in the host group, and restart nagios!</FONT></P>
