Nagios and restarted it and although the files hostpref.log and
servicepref.log are created by Nagios no data is written to

that although the nagios.cfg file has event_handlers
enabled</FONT></SPAN><SPAN lang=en-us></SPAN><SPAN lang=en-us> <FONT
face=Arial size=2>the tactical overview shows them as
disabled.</FONT></SPAN></P>
