I'm having a strange problem with my nagios setup. I'm running nagios 1.0 on top of FreeBSD 4.7. Earlier this week I recieved alerts regarding two websites that I'm monitoring, strange thing was that I could reach them from the survelliance server by using telnet (against port 80) and lynx. check_http returned with "Socket timeout after 10 seconds" and State: Critical This has happened three times, all during tuesday and wednesday this week. I'd be very happy to hear about any ideas regarding this problem.
