send_nsca logic is not simple, since it includes checksums and encryption in its
data packet. This is desirable because it increases security.... I am
currently deciphering it in order to modify nt_syslog so that it sends
filtered alerts via NSCA instead of syslog (for simplicity) and it's rather
complex. I already gave up on trying to implement it in Perl! I'd
say, read the send_nsca source code. If you can't understand it, probably
the task of writing a client is beyond your current coding
