I did so because I have implemented perfparse at our site, and it works great. I actually added performance data to all of the plugins that we currently use. Basically just added " | value=x value=x value=x" to the print and printf statements in the C code and script files. I followed the Nagios plugin development guidelines ...as pointed out by the perfparse developers.
