Nothing is there in checkcommands.cfg file or misccommands.cfg are
empty.<br>
I am running debian linux. All the packages were installed frpm .deb
packages.<br>

}
That is the part I'm concerned about. You've verified that your
NRPE configuration is good by manually executing check_nrpe.
