<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Can I use macros in the config-files? In former versions of Nagios, I wrote some cgi´s which were bound into the service-/host-overview as "extended informations"; I used the "old style" of specifying extended informations to be compatible with nawui. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Obvisually, macros in the main config-files are parsed, whereas macros in normal config-files - especially the extended service-/host- informations - are not.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Could you give me a hint, with which c-code-files the Nagios-config-files are parsed? Are there any functions to parse macro-vars out of a string?</FONT></P>
